*About the fundraiser
Kia ora,
My partner, Olivia and I are about to start the process of expanding our little family.
As much as it is an exciting time it has also opened our eyes to the inequality there still is within the infertility sector in NZ and the support that is offered.
As a same sex couple this means a bit more of a journey to start a family than the 'norm'. The system, both in the language it uses and the boxes we still need to tick (even though it isn't relevant to our situation) is a challenging thing to experience.
Aside from this, we have incredible support from family, friends and one another and feel very fortunate already.
The hurdle we are facing simply comes down to whether we can afford to try, which is where we are going to need a little extra help.
I am starting a fundraiser to go towards our first round of IVF/ICSI. To help get us a little closer to creating our family, I have designed a necklace loosely based on the first piece of jewellery I gifted to Olivia.
We have also set up a Give a Little for those who would like to support in a different way.

We appreciate your support in which ever way you are able to offer; purchasing a necklace, supporting our Give A Little, sharing this info with friends and family and any kind words.
We would also love to hear from any other queer folk who have gone through/are going through the same experiences.
